Every active raider, meaning a rank of Fresh, Regular, or Loyal gets to have one friend invited to the guild as status "Associate".

Inactive or Associate members does not get to do this. So, if you stop raiding, that might mean your friend gets the boot.

Associate members do not get to raid unless we need them. There is absolutely nothing that Associate members can expect from the guild. They are there as a social function, nothing else.
